Tenor Thomas Kinch Joins the Roster

Opus 3 is delighted to welcome tenor Thomas Kinch to our roster in collaboration with Askonas Holt. The Welsh tenor, praised for his “sterling control and interpretive sensitivity,” is currently an Adler Fellow at San Francisco Opera. In the 2024-25 season, he will perform Don José in Carmen, Melot in Tristan und Isolde, and covers in Un ballo in Maschera, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Die Zauberflöte (Kosky production). He will also debut with San Francisco Ballet in Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde.

Thomas’s recent engagements include performing in the Schwabacher Summer Concert with the Merola Opera Program, his New York debut in La Vestale with Teatro Grattacielo, and roles with Welsh National Opera, including The Magic Flute and The Makropulos Affair.

A 2021 New Generation Artist with Iford Arts, Thomas has performed leading roles in Cavalleria Rusticana/Pagliacci, Madame Butterfly, La Traviata, Tosca, and more. He holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Opera Studies from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Thomas will be managed by Trevor Newman in collaboration with Angelica Conner and Charlotte Bateman at Askonas Holt in Europe.
