Broadway Legend Patti LuPone wins third Tony Award
Congratulations to Patti LuPone, who took home her third Tony Award last night for her portrayal of Joanne in the highly-acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company. Her award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical was won alongside Company‘s win for Best Revival of a Musical. She also won the Olivier Award for her performance as Joanne in the West End production of Company. A previous Tony Award winner for her performances in Evita and the most recent Broadway production of Gypsy, Patti LuPone continues to prove why she is “the American musical Theater’s greatest living star” (San Francisco Chronicle).
