Opus 3 Artists and Askonas Holt are delighted to join forces to represent Final Symphony: Music from Final Fantasy\u00ae<\/sup> and Final Symphony II: Music from Final Fantasy\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>. Featuring sweeping orchestral suites based on the music from Final Fantasy\u00ae<\/sup> V through X and XIII, the Final Symphony concert experiences have sold out performances around the world.<\/p>\n

Final Fantasy\u00ae<\/sup> celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022 and is one of the most celebrated video game franchises of all time, with combined sales totalling more than 180 million copies worldwide.<\/p>\n

Featuring the original music composed by Nobuo Uematsu – hailed as \u201cthe Beethoven of video game music\u201d by Classic FM – alongside collaborator Masashi Hamauzu, the Final Symphony experience allows fans to immerse themselves entirely in the music, and creates an opportunity to reconnect with the soundscape they know and love.<\/p>\n

Final Symphony: Music from Final Fantasy\u00ae<\/sup> received its world premiere in 2013 by the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Eckehard Stier, followed weeks later by the UK premiere with the London Symphony Orchestra, marking the LSO\u2019s first performance of music from video games. Performances have taken place around the world, including with the Tokyo Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony, Tampere Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic, and the San Francisco and San Diego symphonies.<\/p>\n

Recordings of Final Symphony with London Symphony Orchestra and Final Symphony II with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic are available on all major streaming platforms and have received millions of streams since their releases. The album reached Number 1 on the iTunes Classical Charts in over ten countries, as well as the top five classical albums on the Billboard<\/em> charts and the Official UK Charts.<\/p>\n
