Yuja Wang needs no introduction.<\/p>\n
As\u00a0The New York Times<\/em>\u00a0observed, Yuja \u201chas made a career out of dazzling displays of virtuosity\u201d, perhaps most notably when she recently teamed up with\u00a0Yannick N\u00e9zet-S\u00e9guin\u00a0and The Philadelphia Orchestra to perform all four of Rachmaninoff\u2019s piano concerti – followed by his\u00a0Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini\u00a0–\u00a0in a single concert. This was a feat never before attempted at Carnegie Hall, and one she pulled off with \u201cboth clarity and poetry\u2026heft but not bombast, sentiment but not schmaltz\u201d and then came back for more with encores.<\/p>\n Yuja will be managed by both Phillippa Cole, recently appointed Senior Vice President at Opus 3 Artists, and Donagh Collins, Chief Executive of Askonas Holt and Opus 3. Donagh commented, “Yuja is a superstar. She\u2019s an inspirational artist with a dynamic personality, she\u2019s passionate, sensitive and kind. I can\u2019t wait for this next chapter to begin!”<\/p>\n Having just finished a tour of Asia with Sir Antonio Pappano and the London Symphony Orchestra, Yuja next joins forces with V\u00edkingur \u00d3lafsson for a duo recital tour of Europe\u2019s most renowned concert halls, which continues in North America in 2025.
