She was recently awarded 1<sup>st<\/sup> Prize and the Birgit Nilsson Prize at the 2024 Operalia Competition. O&#8217;Mara is currently a member of LA Opera\u2019s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program and is a 2024 recipient of the prestigious Sara Tucker Study Grant from the Richard Tucker Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2024-2025 season, Ms. O\u2019Mara will make debuts at The Metropolitan Opera in <em>Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em> (Berta) and San Diego Opera in <em>La boh<\/em><em>\u00e8<\/em><em>me<\/em> (Mim\u00ec). She will also be seen on the concert stage with the LA Philharmonic in excerpts from <em>Carmen<\/em> conducted by Gustavo Dudamel at the Hollywood Bowl and with The Dallas Opera for their annual Holiday Concert.<\/p>\n<p>She made her LA Opera debut in the fall of 2023 in <em>Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em> (Berta) and was also seen in Zemlinsky\u2019s <em>Der Zwerg<\/em> (Erste Zofe) conducted by James Conlon. In the summer of 2024, she was a Gaddes Festival Artist with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, where she made her OTSL debut in Galileo Galilei (Duchess Christina) by Philip Glass.<\/p>\n<p>She received a Masters in Music from the Juilliard School, a Bachelors of Music from Westminster Choir College, and is a native of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opus3artists.com\/artists\/kathleen-omara\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more about Kathleen O&#8217;Mara.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are thrilled to welcome Soprano Kathleen O\u2019Mara to our roster for general management.
