Last season, Teresa returned to Washington National Opera for her final season as a Cafritz Young Artist. Her mainstage roles at WNO included the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s Grounded (Also Jess) and Songbird (Guadalena). On the concert stage Teresa made debuts with the Erie Philharmonic in Carmina Burana, The Santa Fe Symphony in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, and the Pacific Symphony for staged performances of La bohème (Mimì).

In 22/23, she made her Kennedy Center debut in Elektra (Fünfte Magd) followed by La bohème (Musetta). Additional debuts included Falstaff (Alice Ford) with Maryland Lyric Opera, Nabucco (Anna) with Washington Concert Opera and in the summer of 2023, she returned to The Glimmerglass Festival to make her mainstage debut in La bohème (Mimì).

Teresa spent two summers with The Santa Fe Opera, where she performed in Falstaff (Alice Ford) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena). She made her international debut in The Ghosts of Versailles (Marie Antoinette) at L’Opéra royal de Versailles in 2019.

An advocate of contemporary opera, Teresa has workshopped many important new operas including Gregory Spears’ The Righteous (Sheila), Kevin Puts’ The Hours (Clarissa Vaughan), and Tobias Picker’s Awakenings (Rose).

Teresa has placed in numerous competitions including the Gerda Lissner Foundation International Competition, The Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition Districts, the Lotte Lenya Competition, Butler Opera International Voice Competition, and the Corbett Opera Competition.

Teresa received her undergraduate degree from the Eastman School of Music and her master’s degree and artist diploma from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). She has been a Young Artist with The Santa Fe Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, Chautauqua Opera, and Ohio Light Opera.
