OPUS 3 ARTISTS EXPANDS EUROPEAN LEADERSHIP TEAM

02.23.17

Opus 3 Artists, a major artist management firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Berlin, is expanding its presence in Europe. Dr Marcus Felsner has joined the leadership team as Managing Director of Opus 3 Artists GmbH, a position he now shares with Katharina Ronnefeld, who has led the European operations of the firm since the foundation of its Berlin office in 2012. Marcus Felsner (48), a German lawyer and classical music essayist, has been the managing partner of a global professional service firm. Prior to joining Opus 3 Artists, he has held senior positions in organizations in Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy.

David V. Foster, President & CEO of Opus 3 Artists, commented: “Dr. Marcus Felsner makes a great addition to our team. His management expertise and wide knowledge of international business will enable him to expand the scope and activities of the Opus 3 Artists' Berlin office.”

Opus 3 Artists manages the careers and touring activities of many of the world's most distinguished performing artists and ensembles. The firm traces its roots to the pioneering role of the legendary Sol Hurok, the impresario whose dominant position in North American performing arts spanned the fifty years between 1924 and his death in 1974. The successor to Hurok Concerts, ICM Artists, was formed in 1976 as a division of International Creative Management and the company became independent again in 2006 as Opus 3 Artists LLC.
