DRUMS OF INDIA TOUR STARTS TONIGHT

09.30.16

Opus 3 Artists and the Ravi Shankar Foundation are pleased to present DRUMS OF INDIA from tabla master Bickram Ghosh. Their first North American tour begins September 30 through October 22 from California to New York City. Electrifying and entrancing, these four master drummers from India play a variety of traditional drums plus sitar. Bickram Ghosh, called “the prince of tabla” by George Harrison, has enjoyed a decades-long career that includes multiple Grammy-nominated albums, composing for Bollywood films, and a strong bond with his guru the late Ravi Shankar. The Drums of India project was created to help further Shankar's musical legacy and the ensemble are excited to visit 10 new cities in the United States.
