German-Greek pianist Danae Dörken is among the very few artists capable of spell-binding any audience with the very first bars of their music. Her breathtaking technical skills and deeply reflected interpretations come with an outstanding communicative connection with her audience and great natural charm. Having electrified listeners at leading festivals and concert halls throughout the world, she is today regarded as one of the most sought-after pianists of her generation. 

Highlights of the 2016/17 season include her debut solo recital at Konzerthaus Berlin, followed by recitals in Münster and Bielefeld performances with the highly esteemed Schoneberg concert cycle. Following an invitation by Artur Pizzaro she will also play recitals in Madeira, as well as in Koblenz, Neuenhagen and Dresden. Danae will perform as a soloist together with Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. American violinist Caroline Goulding is on a tour with Danae Dörken that will have them appear at Vienna Konzerthaus, the Salzburg Mozarteum, KKL Lucerne, Lugano Musica, in Sweden, at Wigmore Hall and in Gauting.
